What's "Traditional" Anyway?

Traditions set forth certain rules to follow and they get shaped throughout the time. However, what's being disregarded here is the fact that traditions were not existent all along. They are the by products of those who were willing to provide new ideas, new perspectives in their times. Those people were then followed, until someone else with enough courage came to challenge those previous traditions and replace them with his/hers.

Multimedia art is providing new ways for people to express themselves and 'expressing self' is the element that creates the appreciation of the end-product. Due to social and technological change, people are now looking for new ways to express themselves. If the traditional way is not sufficient for this expression, multimedia can help.

With the increase of the availability of technological tools in our lives, multimedia can become the traditional way of posing your art. What's considered contemporary now(ie. Multimedia art) can become the traditional medium for art.
